Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in Modesto, California and graduated from Thomas Downey High School. I received my dental training from Fresno City College’s Dental Hygiene program. Family is very important to me. I am a proud mother of two awesome teenage boys and a proud owner of two beautiful dogs (Lilly and Chloe).

I have worked with Dr. Takenaga and his staff for over three years. I am a caring and compassionate person who loves my profession. Working with our great staff, seeing existing patients, and meeting new patients for their first visit are some of the most enjoyable aspects of my job, and I look forward these experiences each and every day.

When I am not working, I pursue a variety of activities for which I am very passionate. I have been a member of the Finnman scuba diving club since 2000. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I get away to the coast with my family.

Alejandra Alvarado

Dental Hygienist

I was born in Mexico City and moved to Modesto at the age of 13. The youngest of three children, I graduated from Beyer High School with honors and continued my education at Modesto Junior College. Four years later, I graduated from Fresno City College with an Associate Degree in Science. I have been practicing as a dental hygienist for over seven years.

I am a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, as well as a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. I have two very playful Chihuahua dogs and two cockatoos. My work is very important to me, and I enjoy working in a field where I can grow as a professional while helping many people every day.
