Meet The Doctors

 

Dentist, Dr. Glenn Takenaga

I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA, graduating with a BS in Biochemistry in 1982. The following year, I started my graduate studies in dentistry at the Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. I then spent two years at USC Medical Center for a general practice residency. I have been practicing dentistry at Sierra Dental Care in Modesto, California since 1992. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association.

 

My cherished non-working time is spent primarily with my wife of 20 years and my two boys in scouting and school activities.

 

I am an avid fisherman and enjoy bass fishing, fly fishing, and catch-n-release. Photography is another passion of mine, and I spend a great deal of time perfecting my skills as a digital photographer. My friends and family would also tell you that I am an amateur computer geek.

 

Dentist, Dr. Edwin Yousefian Josephs

 

After acquiring my BS degree at UC Davis, I worked at a microbiology lab testing common consumer goods. I have always enjoyed working with people and with my hands, and unfortunately, this job did not provide me with that opportunity. That’s why I decided to go into dentistry. Dentistry has been a rewarding path, and helping my patients has brought a sense of joy and fulfillment to my life.

 

Although it is something that my family frowns upon, I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson when time and weather permits. Fishing and camping are my favorite activities with friends and family even though I return from most fishing trips empty-handed. I also enjoy off-roading with friends. When I’m feeling less adventurous, I like to study world history, science, and economics; however, I will usually read any book that I can lay my hands on.

 

Dentist, Dr. Kevin Williams

 

I grew up in the Bay Area and attended the Oakland Public Schools. I completed my undergraduate studies at Cal State University Hayward and earned my DDS degree at the University of California San Francisco in 1984.

 

I am married and have two adult children. When time permits, I like to dabble in sculpting, and I have always been a sports enthusiast.

 

Dentist, Dr. Marinello Manuel

 

I relocated from New York City in 1996 to join Sierra Dental Care and Modesto has been my home ever since.

 

Received my D.M.D. from the University of the Philippines in 1988 and completed 2+ years post graduate externship in oral pathology, anesthesia and oral surgery.

 

When I’m not working I enjoy sports, traveling, fine dining, gardening, the symphony and Broadway.
