Computer Technology and Massage Chairs

 

We offer computer technology which allows us faster record retrieval as well as the ability to communicate more efficiently with insurance companies and to referring specialists. This may seem trivial but this can translate into faster treatment times, less appointment visits, less patient participation of treatment communications to third parties or to referring dentist, improved diagnostic abilities, more treatment options, and the list goes on.

 

Each chair is also equipped with built-in massagers so that you will be as comfortable as possible throughout your entire treatment.

 

Digital X-Rays

 

Not only is your comfort and confidence foremost on our mind, but we provide digital x-rays which allow your dental work to be as accurate as possible. Traditional oral x-rays would take longer to develop and expose you to higher amounts of radiation. With digital x-rays, you can view the results immediately, saving you time and allowing our dentists to discuss your oral concerns more comprehensively. Digital x-rays are also much safer since you will be exposed to significantly less radiation.

 

CEREC

 

The Modesto family dentists at Sierra Dental Care are proud to offer CEREC technology, which allows us to provide you with dental crowns and porcelain inlays and onlays. CEREC enables us to take a digital image of your tooth or teeth and create the appropriate restorative piece to apply to your tooth within just a few minutes.

 

With traditional dental technology, an impression of the tooth or teeth must be taken and sent to a lab which will create your crown, inlay, or onlay. This takes time, requiring you to come back for a second visit to complete your treatment. With CEREC dental technology, the waiting is over. You can walk into our office and leave the same day with a new, permanent crown, inlay, or only instead of having to wear a temporary replacement for a week or two.
